From the seaside to the countryside, lots of places are easy to visit on a day tour from London. Or you could extend your tour and book a hotel for overnight using EasyToBook.com. They offer a wide range of hotels throughout England. If you are looking for something to play on your journey, perhaps you could try this mobile bingo site.
Although
many of the landmarks highlighted in these trips are hopefully going to
be there for ears to come, others may not be. The rail information may also change from time to time. Please use the information on these pages for general guidance only.
I suggest you also refer to the official tourist website for the place you are planning to visit before you set out on your trip.
I've tried to show the locations of landmarks as accurately as possible on the maps but for some places, the co-ordinates might not be precise. Please just use the maps as a guide.
Although all the places I have suggested for day trips are quite safe to visit, I suggest you avoid travelling to and from them at evenings, unless on an organised bus trip. Using the trains is less safe at night and some services stop running after late evening.
