A: it depends where exactly you will be wanting to park a car. In central London areas (zone 1) there are parking restrictions, which usually mean red lines (where you can never park), and yellow lines (where you can only park on Saturday afternoons and Sundays for free – otherwise, you need to use a meter or buy a “pay and display” ticket).
