Queer Britain is the UK’s first and only permanent LGBTQ+ museum.
It has been open for three years and 100,000 people have now visited it.
They’ve just opened a new Jimmy Somerville and Bronski Beat temporary exhibition which runs until May 25, 2025.
Their next temporary exhibition will be dedicated to 20 Years of UK Black Pride, and there’s more to come as the year progresses, running alongside their permanent exhibition. More details are on their website.
Admission is free, and tickets can be reserved in advance at www.queerbritain.org.uk. Donations are welcome to continue the work of the museum.
They’ve also just announced that Elton John and David Furnish have become the museum’s newest patrons.
