About this Site

This site was launched in 1996, making it one of the original "London for free" sites.
The site is free to use, and you do not need to register to do so.
All walks were written by the site owner, and all images were taken by the site owner - you are free to download them for educational purposes.
If there are images on the site that were created by others, this is an oversight and we are working to remove them as we find them. We no longer publish images created by others.
The walks were last updated in 2014. Though the details about the landmarks and places of interest are still mostly accurate, sadly some of the directions may have changed. Please therefore also ensure you have a current map with you.
In response to several requests from site visitors, the walks and bus tour can also be purchased from this site via PayPal as pdf booklets, for a small admin cost.
Our aim is to help you enjoy your time in London by providing you with a few ideas of things to do and see without spending loads of money.
It is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of everything that is free in London.
Enjoy!
